After a lengthy and courageous battle with cancer, Peter Lem, a staff member at St. Lawrence College, passed away on August 31, 2012, the day before his 37th birthday. Sonya, his beloved wife and best friend, following Peter's wishes, started this fund to help students who are directly affected by cancer to help ease their obstacles.
Peter Lem Memorial Fund
The Peter Lem Memorial Fund is an emergency fund available to students who are either directly affected by cancer (diagnosed while enrolled as a full-time student at St. Lawrence College) or indirectly by a close family member being diagnosed (sibling, parent, or legal guardian or spouse while the student is enrolled full-time).
